Green Festival!

Please join me this weekend (May 21) at the Seattle Green Festival at Qwest Field.

I will be there Saturday afternoon (4:30pm), as on of the local artists and environmentalists that will work with some of Seattle’s young adults – in particular, underrepresented youth, homeless youth, and disadvantaged youth, to create a piece of art that illustrates the environmental issues that are important to them. The goal of this project is to explore lessons about the environment through the creative process, while also working to support young adults in pursuing a career path in sustainable arts. The finished piece of art will be shown around the City of Seattle at various times for the public to view. The youth will be paired up with mentors, and the goal is to for the youth to sell their artwork following the session at a local farmer’s market.

Check up with Surgeon today;

So the surgeon said, the disc in my jaw is permanently stuck, no more hard food, ever! And no biting into food, I have to cut everything into little pieces, I can only have soft foods! No chips, no nuts,no apples, no peanut M&M's! No nachos!! they even said I have to cut sandwiches and burgers into little pieces and to always use a fork and knife! so that's a real bummer!

but on a good note I sold the "Cranes" painting from the "Orient Series"

Day 10:

Feeling better, my jaw "popped" Wednesday and it felt like it re- aligned to where it should be so
I went off the smoothie wagon and ate solid food! and quit taking pain killers during the day, for about three days,and talked a lot, but, I think it was wrong for me to do all that and now I'm in pain again...... so back to the smoothies,soups and soft foods for a bit....
Today is my after surgery check up, I'll keep you posted....

yummy split pea with tiny bits of sausage!
