Advice From a Full Time Artist: Saying No

Knowing when to say No to a job....

Although I did just say to take jobs to get money, you should also say "No" to some...

First you need to value your time (aka pay yourself)
 plus
Be sure to add up your expenses for the project
if it doesn't pan out and if you don't have time
you can say No,

I've had commissions where the person has been, we shall say "finicky" about what they want,
where I've had to re-do color changes, or dimensions.... multiple times....
where I have lost time and money...
Usually you can tell if it's going to be a "finicky" client, within a few emails, if you have a gut feeling that it will be that way... just politely say say no, that your not the right person for the job and move on....
